The Sharpshooter - Bret Hart's WCW Career

Bret Hart's WCW Career

Bret Hart announced his retirement from professional wrestling in October 2000 due to injury caused by a kick from Goldberg (December 23, 1999). Before his retirement Bret made three to four appearances in the WCW while not actually wrestling in the ring. He came out to praise the Canadian Lance Storm on his win over Mike Awesome. In one of his other appearances Bret was seen to blame Goldberg for his 1/10th permanent brain injury and also hitting him with Shovel near the grave which Goldberg had dug for Russo. In the War Games 2000 he also helped Nash to win the World Title when he slammed the cage door in Goldberg's face when he was about to win.
